REGULAR SHOW BUBBLE GUM MACHINE PRO
It is shortly after his experience as a Pro Drummer that Benson becomes manager of the Park. However, the band left Benson completely uncredited from the album as a whole, and eventually kicked him out, replacing him with the Drumotron VI.īenson on Say That Word, moments before losing his hair. After this, Benson became the drummer for the hit band Hair to the Throne, in which he famously performed "The Legendary Drum Solo" on a 150 piece drum kit on the band's first album. This would become a part of his past that he would refuse to confront until the events of " Stick Hockey," where he finally defeated Chong and avenged his former apprentice ten years later.

However, Benson immediately quit after Dave was decapitated by Chong.

This is presumably the reason for Benson's short temper and constant yelling throughout the series.Īfter leaving his parents' house, Benson would go on to become a Stick Hockey Master under the name "Death Dragon," along with his apprentice, Dave. In that same flashback, Benson tries to speak up about something, but apparently does not say it loud enough, leading to his father telling him that he will not get anything in life unless he yells for it. During a flashback in " Think Positive," his Family is seen arguing at the dinner table, and given Benson's demeanor, it is likely that this was an incredibly common occurrence.
REGULAR SHOW BUBBLE GUM MACHINE SERIES
It is made clear in the series that Benson grew up in a verbally abusive household.
REGULAR SHOW BUBBLE GUM MACHINE FULL
While, in The Dome Experiment, Benson does grow a full head of hair, given that its color is drastically different from what his hair normally looks like, it is likely that this was nothing more than a visual-aesthetic choice as a comedic reference to the Rambo film series, in which the main character has an identical hairstyle along with a red headband.īenson as a young child, found in a picture frame in Benson's apartment. In the finale, Benson is shown with long, grown out hair, which could imply that it was able to grow the entire time, but he voluntarily kept it shaved, which could be very possible given the situation of his facial hair. It has been shown on numerous occasions that he will quickly grow a stubble if he goes even just a day without shaving, implying that he shaves at least once a day. Benson did previously have hair, which was a medium chestnut brown, which all fell out after he was humiliated on the game show "Say That Word." Despite being bald, however, Benson is still able to grow facial hair rather quickly. When becoming sick, as shown in " Sandwich of Death", his gumballs will turn green.īenson appears as bald throughout almost the entirety of the main events of the series (with the exception of The Dome Experiment and the finale). The gumballs also turn a darker shade of pink (almost gray) when Benson is feeling incredibly sad. The most common example of this is when he gets angry, in which they quickly turn a bright shade of red. The turn switch on his chest is shaped like a heart symbol, hinting that's probably where his heart is.īenson's gumballs also change color depending on certain things Benson is feeling. It is also worth noting that his dispenser slot sits in a rather phallic position, and the latch being open seems to be the equivalent of him being naked.

Despite having rather long arms and legs, Benson is relatively short compared to most other characters. While story boarder Benton Connor has noted that his gumballs may act as facial hair, this is easily disproven by his actual facial hair grown throughout the series. Benson is a gumball machine with pinkish-purple/red gumballs enclosed by a glass dome, sunken eyes and a large, straight nose that just about overlaps his mouth.
